Green Space Dark Skies

Giant's Ring, Lagan Valley Short Film

In April 2022, #GreenSpaceDarkSkies gathered at the Giant's Ring in the Lagan Valley in Northern Ireland. People have gathered here for thousands of years, and hundreds more gathered to create a giant piece of outdoor art within the landscape. Braving the rain, our community choir premiered a new piece of music by Katie Richardson called Darkness Before the Dawn. It’s the perfect soundtrack to our film and works beautifully with the geolights, our pioneering lighting technology, designed with Siemens. Everyone is welcome to join this series of outdoor events, which celebrate nature, our responsibility to protect it and everyone’s right to explore the countryside. For the full #GreenSpaceDarkSkies experience, including films, music, poetry, memories from our Lumenators and more visit Want to know more about #GreenSpaceDarkSkies and how you can get involved?
